Kerry, Technical Manager & Lead Investigator
Kerry -- The definition of paranormal : "Beyond the range of normal experience or scientific explanation." As a child, I did not experience anything paranormal. In fact, growing up in the sticks, I experienced very little so I began tinkering with electronic devices. Jumping ahead several years, I am an electrician by trade and have studied electric magnetic fields and Einstein's theory of parallel universes. Over the last two years, our paranormal research group has purchased a thermal imaging camera, Trifield EM meters, digital voice recorders, night vision cameras, geiger and ion detectors. Before an investigation begins, Tim and I test all devices to avoid interference from common electrical wiring or wi-fi signals. How can one be a skeptic when thousands of EVP's have been recorded and documented? The majority of our Villisca Axe Murder House EVP's depict an intelligent haunting. At other locations we have recorded voices that are residual in nature. We will continue to add and update our EVP's and photos on this site, so please leave comments in our guestbook. Believers and skeptics are welcome.

Jan, Case Manager & Investigator
Janice -- When I was younger, I never really thought about spirits or "ghosts" until I was in college, and had my first personal experience. One night I awoke in my dorm room and saw a blonde haired girl wearing a blue sweater sitting at the foot of my bed. I wasn't sure I was really seeing what I thought, until I turned on the light and looked back to find she was gone. Another weekend night my sister, who lived in the same dorm, was out of town. The girl who lived in the room below hers told my sister that she heard footsteps and partying coming from her room. But, no one was in the room all weekend. Also, in the lounge room of our dorm the resident assistant heard the piano playing late at night and went to tell whoever was playing it to stop, yet there was no one there and the room was completely dark. My job is to participate in the investigations and review any evidence. I ask many of the questions during our investigations as I seem to get the most responses. I believe that the spirits can contact us and that we have spoken with them. I feel that our investigations have given us some of the most exciting experiences and can't wait to bring you more evidence.

Tim, Historical Research & Lead Investigator
Tim -- When I was a little boy, I awoke in the middle of the night and saw people dressed in ballroom attire dancing in our home. I never spoke of this, but many years later, my mom told me she had witnessed the same thing. From this, my curiousity in the paranormal was sparked. I am the lead researcher and study the history of locations we are investigating. I feel that there is something unknown out there and hope that through our investigations we can find the answers. I have helped develop techniques that have lead our group to evidence that indicates that paranormal entities can communicate with us.

Cody, Field Analyst & Investigator

Cody -- Growing up, I had no real opinion about anything paranormal. Quite honestly, I was terrified of the dark. Today, I am more than happy to sit in a dark room asking questions in the hopes of communicating with spirits. It is my job to keep track of the temperatures, barometric pressures, placement of equipment, and weather. I maintain logs that we use later to compare with our evidence. I am also the public liason and conduct all interviews and consultations with the public. I do feel that there is more out there, an afterlife. I have witnessed this in pictures and in electronic voice phenomena (EVP's). I'm no longer the scared little girl, but am an an experienced paranormal investigator who wants to share my evidence with you.

Denise, Sensitive & Investigator

Denise -- Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I was different than most. It started as dreams for me. I would see things that; to most; did not exist. I would dream sometimes of future events and then wake up to tell someone, only to get into trouble, because it was all “CRAZY” talk. I learned to shut my Sensitivity down at a very early age. At least I learned to keep it to myself. I knew my Grandfather passed before my mom called me, because he visited me ten minutes before my mom called to tell me. I knew about my Grammy’s illness before my brother could tell me, because I had a dream about it. I knew she passed away the morning I boarded a plane, because I felt her pass through me. These are just some of the examples of my sensitive capabilities. Sometimes names or pictures of places I have never been just pop into my head. Why does this happen? Just another way for others to communicate with our realm.

Marc, Investigator

Mark -- I like to think of myself as a logical, insightful individual, a man of facts and actuality...And then I go ghost hunting on weekends so no one else really thinks that. In a field that has many falsehhoods as this one I understand why a lot of people don't take it seriously. To someone who has never had any sort of personal experience the notion of ghosts and spirits existing around us seems more than unlikely. I investigate to bring more acute scientific approach to the process that will hopefully broaden the understanding and acceptance of this field. I believe O.R.B.S. is a great group to facilitate that goal and I look forward to sharing our findings with everyone.
